Description
The Business of the Year Award recognizes an outstanding organization that has been in business for 10 years or more and has demonstrated entrepreneurial achievement and community leadership. The award acknowledges excellence in business practices combined with a vision for future development. The company may be of any size and operate in any field.
Requirements
The NBAAs are open to any business in Niagara. Nominees must be either located or conducting business in the Niagara region. A nominee cannot be a finalist of a category within ten years of winning the same category. Nominees do not have to be members of the GNCC. Nominees may not be elected officials or declared candidates for political office. This category has the additional requirement that nominated businesses must have been in business for 10 years or more.

Description
This award recognizes a company that has been in operation for 3 years or less, that has proven entrepreneurial success, and shows great promise for continued growth.

A nominee cannot be a finalist of a category within ten years of winning the same category. Nominees do not have to be members of the GNCC. Nominees may not be elected officials or declared candidates for political office. This category has the additional requirement that nominated businesses must have been in operation for three years or less.

Description
This award recognizes business excellence in an individual under the age of 40. The nominee will have a proven track record of professional success and shows outstanding potential for the future. The professional may be in any field.

The NBAAs are open to any business in Niagara. Nominees must be either located or conducting business in the Niagara region. A nominee cannot be a finalist of a category within ten years of winning the same category. Nominees do not have to be members of the GNCC. Nominees may not be elected officials or declared candidates for political office. This category has the additional requirement that nominees must be aged 40 or under as of the application deadline (April 11, 2025)
